Brian Mendez MPT, OCS, CSCS





Brian graduated from California State University Long Beach in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science in Physiology and received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2002.  He completed a clinical internship in outpatient orthopedics at St. Francis Hospital and three inpatient clinical internships at Brea Community Hospital, LA County USC Medical Center, and Good Samaritan Hospital. He then went on to work in an acute inpatient orthopedics setting at Good Samaritan Hospital.  

Since graduating from school, Brian has furthered his education and developed his skills by participating in a variety of continuing education courses focusing on manual therapy techniques for the lower and upper extremities, cervical and lumbar spine, and pelvis.  In 2004, Brian was certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  Brian recieved his Board Certification as an Orthpaedic Clinical Specialist from the American Physical Therapy Board.

In his free time Brian enjoys resistance training, hiking, yoga, running, and snowboarding.
